This way we respect the player's privacy and allow them to focus on their primary activity. The game saves your steps, so you will never have to worry about losing progress because you wanted to leave your phone in the pocket. After posting some of his ideas and early work-in-progress on Reddit, the project started to quickly gather a community around it. Eventually Patreon and Buy Me a Coffee subscriptions were set up, and now the game is in closed beta with several developers working on it. The project is so far 100% community funded, but will have a subscription fee for all players who want to access online features after launch.	WalkScape is in 2022 begonnen als project van één man om een spel te maken wat hij wilde spelen, maar nog niet bestond. Nadat hij een aantal van zijn ideeën en concepten op Reddit had geplaatst, begon het project al snel een online gemeenschap te verkrijgen.
